Over half of people prescribed the blood cancer drug ibrutinib developed new or worsened high blood pressure within six months of starting the medication, according to a new study. The analysis also ties the drug to other heart problems.

Ibrutinib is a very dangerous drug. Common side effects associated with its use include diarrhea, fatigue, muscle and bone pain, infections, nausea and bruising. Shortness of breath, constipation, rashes, abdominal pain, vomiting, fever, dizziness, pneumonia and headaches are also common. The drug is additionally known to cause bleeding problems, a decrease in blood cell counts, and even additional cancers. With treatment typically costing around $148,000 per year per patient, far from being a safe treatment for cancer, it is hard to see ibrutinib as anything but a source of exorbitant profit for its manufacturers.

Fortunately, therefore, there are alternative approaches to cancer that are both safe and effective. In the groundbreaking book, ‘Victory Over Cancer’, Dr. Rath and Dr. Aleksandra Niedzwiecki summarize their scientific research, conducted over more than two decades, which shows how natural health approaches can block all key mechanisms that make cancer a deadly disease. Using vitamin C, the amino acids lysine and proline, and other micronutrients, this research is paving the way to turning cancer into a manageable disease.
