Back in 2005, when Dr. Rath first announced that micronutrients can reverse the course of AIDS, he quickly became subject to widespread attacks. The reason for these attacks was obvious: HIV and AIDS are multibillion-dollar markets for the Pharma Cartel. Lifesaving scientific information about natural non-patentable vitamin therapies represents a threat both to the Cartel’s profits and the illusion that ARV drugs can cure AIDS.

Much has changed since 2005. In particular, a clinical trial published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) in 2013 confirmed that long-term supplementation with multivitamins and selenium for HIV-infected patients reduces the risk of immune decline and illness. The results of this clinical trial proved that Dr. Rath was right and subsequently led to the publication of further studies on the use of micronutrients in HIV and AIDS.
